A letter from Apr 28, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Hopefully when you read this in 3 years you’ll be happier and healthier. You’ll be following your dreams (the good ones). You won’t be afraid and won’t be hiding in a corner suffering in silence. This time 3 years ago you were sitting you were sitting on your bed, playing depressing songs feeling sorry for yourself. You felt the world was too much, the future was pointless and nobody wants you. You weren’t acknowledged for reaching out struggling. The rejection, the pain and the fear all climbing higher and higher putting this pressure on you. Did we get the dream job of working for Kooth? Are we with Dawn? We worked with Dawn for 14-15 months and was our rock. She told us we could and we were someone she believed in. We thought of them as a mother as she always wanted what was best for us. Cute really having a professional treat you the way you DESERVED!! If we are working alongside Dawn make sure to treasure them okay. We’ll follow in the footsteps she created which are very high because she is amazing and an inspiration. I promise you harming yourself, or ******* yourself isn’t the answer. I know you are scared to die, but I’m sure the feeling you had while writing this of wanting to die will leave. It won’t be easy, but take the opportunities given to you okay. Continue to help others not feel the way you have. You hate things that happened to you could of been prevented, they weren’t but helping others now you are a star ⭐️ We published this letter. We published it so others didn’t feel alone. We published it in aims of Dawn ever read this she knows we are thankful for them. We published this because we want some hope. Hope for our future. You will overcome the obstacles I promise. You will get your level 2, 3 and 4 in counselling. You will get the right therapy and support. EUPD doesn’t define you. You may have been through a tricky patch and confused about what’s going on but it’s okay. Your mental illness won’t hold you back forever. Follow your dreams! You are 19, no pressure. Remember you can change your mind, your determination and follow what works for you. I know you hate yourself right now, so let’s hope in 3 years we love ourselves xoxo
