A letter from Apr 26, 2023

Time Travelled — almost 3 years

Peaceful right?

Hey, This is a letter of encouragement. I’ll be 24 in one month and one day. My life is so up in the air right now. Nothing makes sense and I’m constantly questioning everything. Everything I thought I knew for sure has been flipped and questioned and now I feel like I’m learning to live all over again lol. There’s so much turmoil and sorrow in the world, rumours of war, people going missing, stabbings, ********, just general crime and negativity. It is not lost on me the time we currently reside in. If this letter makes it to the three years that I’ve dated it for then first of all heyyyyyy 😂. Congratulations you made it! I’m so proud of you :) If the world becomes worse (which we know is likely) then I hope you’re good. I hope you’re surrounded by immense love and support. I hope you’ve made it in the many many branches and fields I currently see as fantasies. I want you to know the main purpose of me writing this letter. I was thinking about how sometimes God can be silent, especially when you’re going through the mud. It’s like He’s left just your messages on DND and everyone around you is thriving and have their messages read and responded to immediately. I think in those moments/periods, it’s important to remember that the Lord our sovereign and Holy God does not leave. Psalm 23:4. Even (think about that word) in the valley of shadow of *****. Even when it feels like He’s not there. Even when we don’t want Him there. Even when we can’t feel His presence. Even when we’ve sinned, and hurt Him and caused Him pain. He’s still waiting for us to come back to him. To repent. To say sorry, ask for forgiveness and make a conscious effort to change our ways. He’s just good like that. Paul really snapped when he said in Philippians 4:4 and 4:8. Keep your eyes on Him and rejoice always for Jeremiah 29:11 was not spoken in vain and He has our whole lives planned out. We just have to stop trying to deviate from it. I thank you God for giving me this word, I pray it blesses all those that read it and may it provide comfort for those that need it. In Jesus’ holy name. Amen
