Dear FutureMe,
Hola, it’s your 17 year old self. I didn’t know what to say before I sent this, but I hope its not a waste of your time. At the moment life is pretty bad, it hasn’t been great for a while, as you probably know. I don’t know what I should do to make things better, but hopefully you already know. I just hold onto the thought that everything is temporary, even if it doesn’t feel like it. If thing’s haven’t changed, get out of bed and go to the bookstore, or whatever your favourite place is. Your bed is like chocolate, it’s great, but too much can make you feel sick. Anyways, on a lighter note, I’m currently crushing on Eli , you probably know this, but I hope that whatever the outcome is you’re happy, with or without him. I also want to remind you about Lach, Nash, and Eric, if they become options, I hope they also have good outcomes. Because by now, however old you are I hope you have found your soulmate, or are at least fulfilled with enough love to make you sick. If not get out of bed and fall in love, it might be cringey but we only live once, so live happy. I hope you are still friends with Taylah and HL, if not, then that sucks. I also hope you have been to a real party, whether its in 2023 or even 2030 I don’t care. Right now my main focus is cherishing the last year of school, cherishing my family and our wonderful couch filled with great memories, and my friends who I see everyday, even if those days are numbered. I don’t know what year I addressed this letter to, so I could receive it next week, or when im 60, or even after I die.
Te Amo Bonita,
your 17 year old self.
