Time Travelled — about 3 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I hope you did well in school. I can't believe when I moved here in second grade in 2015 and thought to myself, wow Karen you still have ELEVEN years till your graduating. And now...here we are. Finally about to move on to this next chapter in your life. I hope you got valevitorian and beated Joseph. I hope that you become better in track and become as good as Hannah, running a sub 6 mile time. You better not be running a 58 sec hurdle in your senior year!! Don't embearess me Karen! Even though the idea of sitting there all day watching Tiktok sounds tempting, please get up and go outside and practice. I hope you are still as eager as I am now to go travel the world and finished that list you made on where to travel the world. Please don't get in petty boy drama distract you in your high school journey. Boys will always be boys and never let them get to you. Please be nice to your self and not compare yourself to others. Right now I'm really struggling with that. So how different am I from today? Pleaseee say that I'm more confident. I really lack at that. Anyways I hope your not letting your shopping addiction get in your way. Please know that getting to grow and be a adult is a gift and not a curse. Yes you'll get wrinkles and others things I won't say (I hope ur not this vain either) but that's the beauty of it. Embrace it. Corny but you need to hear it. Enjoy every single moment. Time is precious. I'm so proud of you Future Karen. WE'VE MADE IT KAREN!!!! WE DID IT!! Let's move on in this next chapter of our life and make the best of it!!!!!!!!! - 14 year old Karen Huang
