A letter from Apr 23, 2023

Dear Future Me, Hello! I hope you're doing great! :) How are you doing? How are you feeling? When you receive this, you will (hopefully) be in the college, and 16 years old. Jesus Christ! That's really old. I'm thirteen right now so you will probably forget about this when you receive it. But that's okay! Consider this as a happy birthday present from yourself. I hope that you are feeling happy and smiling as you read this now. However, if you feel stressed or sad, don't be! Just remember that you are awesome, and be proud of what you've achieved throughout these 16 years of your life. There are always ups and downs in life, and everyone is different in how they overcome the downs! Anywaysss, how is your life right now? Have you picked your GCSEs? Do you still want to be a lawyer? Have we abandoned flute and cello? Are you stressed about your really important exams? Well, I'm about to do BCAS in a few weeks, so I'm really stressed. I also have my lamda and flute and cello exam coming up. I don't think I'm ready. Although, I hope I get the scholarship, but I don't think that I can. But that's okay. At least I know that I have tried. How is college life? Do we have new friends? If so, what happened to Sofiya, Jocelyne, Olivia, Ella, and Juliana? Do you still see them? I'm assuming that Yuan has gone to university, so which uni did she go to? I hope she got into Imperial college like she wanted. Okay, I'm going to stop bombarding you with questions. However, I do want you to treat yourself to some bubble tea or a doughnut, as a present from me! And when you're feeling down, just know that I am very proud of you, and I will always love you!
