A letter from Apr 18, 2023

Dear Future Me, Hope you're still hanging in. Me, just barely. But you're an adult now! And in college, holy ****. I suppose you've gotten tattoos and a binder and ****. I wonder what color your hair is? Mine is blue that was supposed to be green, remember that? Is Gracie...? I don't want to make you sad but she is getting old. She's an ******* but she's adorable and she has her sweet moments, definitely. What's our relationship with Mom like? Now I'm pretty confident I couldn't go no-contact but did you? Or maybe she respects you and your name and pronouns IMAGINE. Right now is the era where people at Trader Joe's are gossiping about me, btw. And is Mya ok? I'm so worried about her. I still don't think I've forgiven myself for leaving her and for being happy here. I just hope she's forgiven me. I miss her every second of every day and I think about her all the time and wish she were here. The last time I saw her was about four months ago, and I won't see her for another four months which is insane and wayyyy too much. And are she and Scotia still together? I hope they're endgame, I really love both of them. As for other Blake friends, I still pretty much haven't talked to Riley, which sucks. Noah and Nola are apparently dating???? Please don't let them be endgame. Sometimes I even miss Morgan. I wish I talked to Camryn Ryan more, though. I hope they're all still okay! Now, Brewster friends. Is Araceli hanging in there? I am really worried about them. I hope the Bug Club still talks because I love the heck out of all of them. And the discord server. And Cyan. Right now, I've got a terrible crush on Cyan. And I'm pretty sure they wouldn't date me because they're a senior and I'm a sophomore but I can't shut down my emotions, UNFORTUNATELY. Ava, Rebekah, Yashika? I hope they're all okay. All the theater kids. Speaking of, how's the theater life going? Right now I've only been in the Crucible (which was a fever dream) and James and the Giant Peach (which was one of the best experiences of my life). I've auditioned for the Addams Family at Richter, hopefully something comes out of that. Are you playing leads in the school shows? Have you done community theater? I hope it's going well. I also really hope you're still seeing shows, and there are shows you want to see. I recently saw Some Like it Hot, which was great. And I guess by now the Percy Jackson show is out! And rwrb, and Ari and Dante omg I am so excited!!! Have you started therapy? I do really hope so because gurl do I need it. Maybe you're even reading this to your therapist? Interesting. I can't really think of anything else I want to say. I love you and I am so so proud of you for still being here and making it this far.
