A letter from April 16th, 2023

Dear FutureMe, By the time this letter reaches you, we will be 21. Turning 19 is already overwhelming enough this year but we have big plans for 2025 already so i hope you're nailing it even tho things never go as planned T-T 1. First of all, how was our boys comeback ? Is everyone back safely from the military? 2. Did we make enough money to go to that bts concert ? 3. Did we finally meet Manya ? In india ? Somewhere else perhaps ? I hope we still talk to her if we don't please reach out, we have a promise to keep remember ? We promised to go to that bts concert together no matter where we are in life and what's our relationship like. It's still November, 2025 is not over yet! Writing this after re reading the letters in the carrd she made for us last year, she is so precious so i hope we didn't let all of that go to waste. Even if we haven't met her yet, I hope we still care for each other. Even if we don't talk **** until 4 am anymore because life is probably busy, i hope we still update our shared playlist on Spotify from time to time, i hope we still fangirl over bts together, i hope we still share that special bond. If we met her, please tell me you at least kissed her huh or did that thing to Slumber Party we talked about back in the days ykik, even we both passed out after it's okie T_T Oh and i hope our gc with the others still exist even if we don't talk like back in 2019!! :( It would be our 6 years anniversary on the 7th of December 2025 <3 4. How is work life ? Did we finally choose a field ? Because lemme tell you girl i'm clueless af so i'm counting on you to figure it out T-T 5. How's Sou ? Did she finally get that divorce ? We had a drink together yesterday, as always it was a fun and precious time <3 (even if she slept all over me and i wasn't even able to get up to go pee T_T) idk if you'll remember tho but you sure remember our 5 years plan right ? How is it going? I hope none of us changed our mind, i hope she's happy and healthy. I hope you finally discovered what she wrote in that letter she said you'll read only after she passes away someday. T_T I hope we still have the same friendship/siblings like bond even tho we are aunt and niece. I hope we still go clubbing together or have a drink from time to time while still repeating that "there's no future in drinking alcohol" but keeps on doing it anyway because yolo. <3 7. DID WE GET THAT DRIVER'S LICENSE GIRL?! 🔪 *plays driver's license by Olivia Rodrigo* OR FINALLY LEARNED TO PLAY THAT GUITAR? 8. How's Jade ? Ig we won't be friends anymore by that time, we both know how things are but even if we aren't friends anymore, still reach out, she was important for us at some point even if we grew apart just see how she is. And Fanita too! 9. How's mom ? And catto ?? Still a little brat ? Still chasing mouse and bringing it under mom's bed ? Did we move out and took him with us ? He should be a little older by 2025 but i hope he's still being the same dramaticat that wakes us up way too early everyday. 10. Are we happy ? I hope you're at a place both physically and mentally where you feel safe and warm to be you. I hope we still take some time to try random recipes on our days off even if it doesn't always turn out great, that we still have the urge to try random hobbies that only last a couple of weeks. I hope we still find peace and tranquility in staying in on a rainy day reading a book and drinking way too much iced coffee. I hope still love love and never fail to express it without fearing the risks of getting our heartbroken. Because as long as we're happy, healthy with our loved ones around us, it shall be okie right love? I will work hard so that you can proudly and positively reply to that list. I'll be proud of you no matter what tho, we are constantly evolving and changing, it gets tough, overwhelming but it's still all worth it so remember to at least take the time to be grateful for what we have, what we have achieved so far and the person we are becoming.
