It's me, your younger self, writing from the past. I'm writing to remind you of how far we've come, and how strong we are. Right now, it's 2023, and we've faced so many hardships and challenges together. We've experienced unloving, toxic, and abusive parents, we've experienced ****** harassment, we've experienced judgments about our looks, and we've experienced sickness and trauma. We're feeling exhausted and have thoughts of ending our life.
But despite all of this, we're doing well in school, and we're working hard. We're so strong, and I'm really proud of us. I'm planning to go to college in the fall, and I'm hoping that by the time you read this letter, we'll have achieved our dreams. I'm hoping that we'll have finished college and become a nurse, and that we'll have strong relationships with God. I'm hoping that we'll have found someone who loves us for us, and that we'll know our worth.
Most of all, I'm hoping that we'll be happy and healthy. I want you to know that you're the best of the best, and that you can do anything you set your mind to. I want you to remember to treat yourself with kindness, and to take time for yourself. Do we still love spending time alone, and do we still love pastas? I hope so.
Take care of yourself, FutureMe. You're amazing and you deserve the world.
Love,
Your Younger Self.
