Time Travelled — about 3 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Its been a while, the last time i did one of these was i think 3 years ago and i received it a year later on my birthday. Now I'm here writing this to receive it by the time i should be graduating high school or at least the last day of school. i think i plan to send myself one every year now just to see how far I've come but for now, this one will do. As of right now, you are almost about to finish freshman year you have amazing friends (some not so amazing but hey) you recently broke up with your boyfriend Jeremy, who you definitely are still in love with even though you won't say it out loud or admit it because your friends don't like him and encouraged you to break up with him. which makes sense because he did sorta treat you like trash at times. I hope you've had more experience relationship-wise and know when you deserve better. you're still trying to grow and figure your way through life and what you want to be. I hope you decided to at least try and follow your dream of doing something in the film industry like filmmaking or even acting even if you think it's embarrassing or you're scared of being judged. I hope you overcome that fear because you could do so much if you weren't scared or embarrassed. Or if that doesn't work out I hope you figure it out and choose to pursue something you love (and make a lot of money duh). you better still be best friends with Julie and Samantha because they are the best things to happen in your life so far. For Jeremy, you're still friends with him which is contradictory to be best friends with your ex (especially when you both still like each other...not your smartest idea) but if you don't talk to him anymore I hope you at least end on good terms. I hope even after rene graduates you still talk to him because he is a really great friend and our favorite junior/senior of course. I don't want to write too much but the one thing I hope you have learned over the years is to not worry about what people think and know when you are being used. much love, your freshman self.
