A letter from Apr 02, 2023

Time Travelled — almost 3 years

Peaceful right?

Well well well... It's April 2, 2023, it's 2:04 p.m., we're listening to What Once Was by Her's. Do we still listen to this song? In four days, it's the end of Parcoursup (college applications). The thing is, we haven't finished all the cover letters we have to do yet. To put it bluntly, we were in the process of writing a letter for Sciences Po, but we're feeling a little overwhelmed by a whole bunch of thoughts, so we're allowing ourselves to take a little break to get our ideas back in place. Anyway... How are you? Where are you? What are you doing? What are you feeling? Do you succeed in detaching yourself, in freeing yourself from what others think? Do you manage to get rid of unnecessary things that clutter your life? Have you managed to adopt a healthy mindset, that only you direct and not the internet or society? For me, high school ends in two and a half months. It's unbelievable. I still remember my first day in September 2020. I remember the stress, what Mom said to me as soon as I came back from school. "So how's the high school girl doing?" She is fine. She is a bit tired, but she is happy. She has many wonderful memories in mind. Even if a page of her life turns, the "best" according to some, "the worst" according to others. It turns. It turns to reveal a new chapter. A chapter that symbolizes the unknown and excitement. She is scared, but she is looking forward to it, because deep down she knows that a change of environment is the best thing that can happen to her. The future holds only good things for us. You have to remember that the discomfort is only temporary. I believe in you, you have already accomplished great things and you will accomplish more. I believe in you. I believe in myself. We are now listening to Visions of Gideon by Sufjan Stevens, it is 2:25 p.m. Take good care of yourself, of me. Seventeen year-old you <3 I love you
