Dear Future Ryan Denning,
Hi, I hope you are doing great; you are reading these 3 years after I have written this letter so your 2nd semester senior now and I hope we are enjoying our last weeks on campus. Now the real purpose of this letter is to help remind me and you who we are and what we are trying to leave in our memory. I would love to see me give longer thoughts on the decisions that I am making. This would help my decision-making dramatically because I make a lot of my choices just right on the spot and I am starting to think that this might be causing me more harm than good. Also, we have to set an example for Hayes (little brother), because what kind of example am I setting for him as I have already been written up twice in your first year. This was something that my older brother said to me over spring break, and it has stuck with me. This is when I feel like I finally understood, the point of being a big brother because when I was younger and still now, I want to do a lot of the things my older brother does. This made me realize that I need to wake up a little and start to set the kind of example for him that I would want for myself. You should be reading this in 3 years and we better still be on track.
Stay safe,
Ryan Denning
