A letter from Mar 21, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Hey, this is you from freshman year, how's it going? I hope we are doing well. We should have our licenses and be driving by now, and we should have a job by now too. I also hope we have been going out more, and making more friends. I know COVID kinda ****** up our social life in middle school, so I hope you have overcome our fear of talking to people we don't know. How's Dylan's old room, or did Brent take it? I'm not exactly the biggest fan of that room, but it has a bathroom, but if we don't have that room, then what room do we have? I kinda hope we get our old room, because it's big and spacious, but I'll also be happy with the room I have now, which was moms old office. I don't really care as long as we are by a bathroom, I would hate to be in brents room and have to walk across the house to go to the bathroom. Did Dad finally renovate the bathroom yet, or is it the same? I really hope we have new countertops and a new fridge because I hate both of those things. Are Tank and Shadow still alive, Shadow might be, but Tank is getting old, so I don't know how much longer he will be alive, but I hope he can still make it to us graduating. Have you started any new hobbies, or doing anything extracurricular? Do you still play Destiny, I hope not, but at the same time, I hope you do. I love the game, but the game is kinda toxic and bad, but I still play it every day, so I hope you still are. There should be 3 more expansions, so I hope they are good, and I really hope the Final Shape is good. Have you played any other single-player games, or gotten into any new multiplayer games? The last single-player game I played was The Last Of Us part 2. Are we still friends with the people in our Destiny 2 clan, like Nathan, Dante, Prince, Kevin, Makar, Tessa, Apex, or Legendary? Do we still talk to our friends in school, like Christian Daniel and Perdido, Julian, Carlos, Gavin, Bruce, Josh, Logan, and a lot of the other people I don't feel like naming? I really hope we have at least had a girlfriend, and done some stuff. Do you remember Mr. Auten, one of our best and favorite teachers? He was the best in 5th grade, and he was great, so I hope you remember him, and I also hope you have been able to get in contact with him. I know he used to follow Mom on Facebook, but I don't know if he still does or not. Or do you remember Ms. Casiano, the art teacher who was great? Do you remember we got the 1st PS5, it was a summer day, and we were swimming when Dad went to go get it. And when we got it, we didn't want to play on the ps4. I hope that we take our education and grades a lot more seriously because I don't really care as long as I get a B or higher. I hope we took the TSI, we are in dual-credit classes, and we go to college. I don't want to be like Dylan and join the Army or Marines, whichever he joined, he hasn't made a decision yet. I hope when you get this, we are in a better place than I am now, that we have come out of our shells, and that we push ourselves out of our comfort zone. But above all else, I hope we are happy where we are. This should be sent on May 1st, so we should be ready to graduate. P.S.
