A letter from Mar 09, 2023

Time Travelled — almost 3 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, hello there. yes it's me again. we turned 22 today. by the time you're reading this, maybe we're already 25? idk. but yes, we made it past 17. a lot has changed. we are the same person, yet i feel like we are so different. it's like the reflection in the mirror is a completely different person when it should have been the same. but that's what people call growth, right? i'm not sure if we changed for the better or worse, i can't really say. maybe a little bit of both. i think we're getting the hang of this. treating birthday just like any other normal day. a part of me still wish that it would have been different, this year. but i think we both know that's not really happening, isn't it? it's best not to get our hopes up. some people still wish for us though. please don't let them go. by the time this letter reaches you, i hope they're still a part of your life. i do not wish for many things. i just wish that by the time you read this, there will be someone to read it together with you. i hope you already found peace. i hope you are no longer lonely. i hope you found a home. let's make it to 25, shall we? sincerely, your 22-year-old self.
