A letter from Mar 06, 2023

Dear FutureMe, I hope you are in better place now. This is the time in life when we had broken up with Nidhi, sixth semester was on peak. Overall band baji padi thi. I hope wherever you are , you are at mild peace. Hopefully you are in Ireland pursuing a master's and i know it isn't easy. I know there must be time when you felt like you are fighting alone or you are overworked and overwhelmed. But i hope you realise that this was your escape 3 years ago. We would daydream about leaving India and going abroad and learning. Meeting new people. living one day at a time. But i understand that with time we will be facing much bigger problem and i know we are strong enough to bulldoze through that too. i hope we have found another person with whom we have a bond like we had with Nidhi. Maybe, even better bond? Or maybe we finally got a boyfriend. I don't know , currently I am very sceptical about boyfriend. Maybe older you would realise how silly baby you is being, maybe not. I know we will have a bunch of people to call them ours. Please don't put yourself in position of school Ami. She was naive and she has suffered lots of isolation already. Don't put her through that. I know it's hard for us to make friends but at times i believe all you have to do is be brave. So almost 24 year old Ami, i want you to know that 20 year old Ami can't wait to grow up to become you and i hope you love her as much as i love her. Anyway , happy birthday Lil girl. Lots of love.
