A letter from Feb 26, 2023

Dear FutureMe, You have made it you crazy cat!! Wow, i’m so god-**** happy for you, you beautiful human being you have graduated school. I know on this day and in the past year of two you were seriously thinking about not being here and that you didn’t belong, but my amazing gorgues human you’ve made it and you should be so ******* proud of your self baby. I KNOW how much you’ve hated yourself, I know everything that you’ve said and done and honestly I wouldn't take back anything because you owned it and you SLAYED and that is what is important. Okay lets list off what you’ve done Been to pride Survide school Have a car ******* GRADUATED Kiss that person Overcome your worst fears Be a christian Attend a christian service You should be so GOD-**** happy about your achievements, 14 year old Skye doesn't really think they’ll make it this far but 18 year old Skye knows they’ll make it this far! You are such a stuburn beautfuil person, and i love you so ******* much. Honestley though, your a ******* Godess like when you read this you would’ve finished all your highschool years and majority of your teen years, you should be SO PROUD of that sweet pea. It’s going to be hard again, but it’ll never ever get as hard as it did. Those years will always be your hardest years to mark our words. Right now you're either in your car or you're starting the road trip and I just want to say thank you to the future Emma, Alex, Jess and possibly Thia who are in the car with us because they helped me through so much. I also want to say keep dreaming, we're going to make it to Canada, we're going to find the love of our life, we're going to accomplish amazing things that we’ve never ever dreamt of, we're going to find our place in this crazy world that we live in, we’re going to have a wonderful family one day, we’re going to get married one day, we’re going to complete our bucket list one day. But to do all that we have got to: Dream on. Not stop believing. Go out in a blaze of glory. You have been through so much for example, no friends, toxic relationships, homophobia, purposeful incorrect pronouns, court cases and heartbreak. If we haven’t reconciled with Angus, do it but don’t trust him again just explain how much it hurts and have a proper conversation with him. If we still hate Mary, think if she dropped dead would you be fine with how you left things? If not then fix things, if yes then leave things as they are. We’re also about to move out, how’s that going for us? Have we moved out yet, or are we still in the process? We should be so proud of ourselves because we have come so far we’re, a rocket that is still halfway through its long and tedious journey, where a sprinter whose lungs are burning but we still persist and we still push forwards. That’s what matters, not so much our destination but our journey there’s do not compare our journey to other peoples because they did not face the same challenges but completely different ones. We should be proud of ourselves, pumpkin. We need to support ourselves and love ourselves unconditionally. We need to be our first priority no matter what others say, take your mental health days seriously because they are the most serious things in your life. And remember, 14 year old skye doesn't even think we’ll make it to 16 so go and blow out this world and prove to all the haters, homophobias and rasicats wrong, prove them that were just as important as them.
