Dear FutureMe,
You have taken steps to invest and make smart financial decisions for the future. There is still a lot for you to learn, but the long-term-hold has been your general strategy and it’s too new for you to see any returns or sales. Keep going. Keep exposing yourself to good finance practices. Keep spending part of your income on purchasing more.
Right now, you’re sitting on the beach in South Florida. You just bought a canadian gold ETF for the first time, and purchased more of some others.
Here is where you’re at:
ATZ, aritzia. retailer average at 49.66. You have 10 shares.
BTCX, ETF bitcoin, at 3.90. You have 6.
Today you bought 3 shares of CGLC, a gold buillion ETF, at 21.17
GNR (NYSE), ETF global natural resource, at 60.75. You have 1, this is your only purchase on the NYSE.
VFV, ETF Vanguard S&P 500, at 95.71. You have 2.
XIU, ETF S&P/TSX 60, at 29.61. You have 28.
ZQQ, ETF NASDAQ 100, last one, you have 10.
I wonder which stock you’ll hit in 100 shares first.
I wonder when you’ll sell something for a sizeable profit. Where will the market be.
Today, my financial knowledge tells me that I am too invested in the S&P top 60 too many times considering 3 of my limited stock purchasing rely on the same. But the other part tells me that my quantities are too small to really have an impact.
Keep going. These numbers seem low, but keep going!!
Love you, always.
