Dear FutureMe,
I am sitting in my first job and writing this letter. I don't have any work right now, so I am pretending to work. I am hungry, I haven't peed and I want to go home. But I am doing well. I want to do justice to you. You deserve everything nice. Given how my life's been going right now, I am scared to make any assumptions about where you are and what you are doing. The past few months have been a cruel teacher but I have loved every minute of it. I have even loved it when I hated it. When people say things work out in the end, I have realised it means that you adapt to whatever life throws at you. Anything. Even if you are unhappy right now, if life is not going the way you want it to be I am guessing you adjusted to it and if you aren't reminding yourself enough, you deserve to take up space and be here. I hope you have someone to love and I hope you are loved.
