A letter from Jan 30, 2023

Dear FutureMe, You are enough. Never depend on anybody in life. God will always have you. Focus on the important things in life. Family may not always support you but it’s not always about them. You may lose friends but it’s only their loss. You’re Gods favorite. Love yourself first or no one else will. Do not stress relationships they come and go. Make grandma proud for me. Her dream was to see you graduate so keep that in mind. Fall back in love with Christ. Find you a church family and visit often. Never forget who was down for you. When you can , love on and bless your Aunt Lala. She has been your rock since forever. She is your angel on earth. You will never be able to truly thank Tee for opening up her home to you but let her know you are thankful 100000 times. Take time and reflect on your dad relationship. Forgive him for the hurt he had caused you. He knows no better. Save a special spot in your heart for him. Cherish him because he won’t live forever. Seek counseling to gain the courage to tell him how you really feel. Remember your dreams of becoming the first teacher/ barber in the world. Can’t wait to hear MRS.ADAMS from all the kids at school. Remember your goal of having your own apartment I know you have worked hard and have it by now. Give yourself a pat on the back from starting over and running your money up. We rich now we did it🤞🏾. I know we have had some ups and downs but we are still here. Still pushing and still shining. We are better and stronger than we’ve ever been. We have not lost sight of the vision just yet. Success is at our fingertips. We are still humble and down to earth. Same good heart we’ve always had but now we know how to use it. We are putting ourselves first always now. We are healed and in love with ourself. No more stressing or worrying we are up. And when I am reading this if we are not up we are… blessed still, loved still, shining still, and most importantly we are grinding. We are picking up the pieces of life. It’s not the end of the world. Relax and breathe. We have made it this far. If it’s one thing college has taught us it is that if it’s not due tonight don’t stress it. Life is already hard don’t make it harder for yourself. Congratulate yourself on small wins. Celebrate with yourself. You don’t need a big group of people around you anyways. You are enough. You are amazing. I love you future self. Life isn’t easy but it’s worth it. Whenever you want to give up think of Ayden. He adores you. You are his role model. Don’t let him down. Show him the right way in life. I know how bad you want a dog. Hopefully we have one by now. Hopefully we have a BETTER car by now but if not that’s alright. We are happy We have came out to the world and have no ***** given abt anyone’s opinions Most importantly we are grinding. We haven’t lost the vision even if we’ve started over 10000 times already.
