A letter from your 15-year-old self

Time Travelling — about 3 years

Peaceful right?

Dear Future Me, Wow. This is wild. Were 18 today... wow. We made it! We survived! Were officially an adult. Remember that really short **** kid Jory? Are we still friends? How about Damien David DeLay? Anyways... how's that singer/songwriter career going? Have we made anything decent yet? How about BoyWithUke? Are we still mega fans of him? It's really surreal writing this since I'm writing this to my 18-year-old self when I'm 14 (about to be 15) ... I don't really know what to say. Hopefully Covid is just a thing of the past and we don't have to worry about it as much. Hopefully we've gained a little more confidence with how we look. Hopefully we've found love by now. And even if we haven't just remember that we're still young and we have plenty of time to find someone. I know "love" has been kind of a tough subject with us, but we'll find the right person for us. I can promise you that much. Anyways with that said... How was high school?? Did we graduate on time? Did we go to college? I know that this letter is kinda all over the place, but I just have so many questions about my future. We made it through freshman year which is kinda insane. I honestly didn't think we'd survive but somehow, we did... I can't really say too much about it though, because I'm still living through that hell... Anyways, are we still friends with some of the people from middle and high school? Like Jory, Damien, Devin, Noah, and Zach? (Just naming off people from freshman year) And if we're still friends with any of them tell them I said "Hi". Anyways. I hope that this letter arrives to you safely and on time and I hope you had fun reading it. I spent over a week making it, so I hope it turned out alright. With that said, I want to wish you good luck with the rest of your life! Have a good one, Future me. -Trevor Cline, Age: 14, Year, 2023
