A letter from Jan 26, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Hello!! It's 2023, I just turned 13!! I'm incredibly excited, I didn't know what I wanted to do for my birthday tonight so I'm just celebrating with the family. Sofia is going to sleep over! I can't wait, I even dressed up for today! I'm wearing a Hello-Kitty vest with a white shirt under it, my gray, ripped jeans, and my denture earrings (Because I'm getting so old, soon enough I will need them!) I have this letter delivered 3 years from now, It feels so far from now but honestly, it isn't. It's crazy to think that 3 years ago the pandemic started, I was in 4th grade. Now I'm in 7th, time does really fly by... I will have turned 16 by the time I get this letter back, which is pretty wild. I'll be driving!! I might as well make my future self laugh, I think that I will have long, pink hair! I tried to dye my hair pink this summer but you know how that turned out... Hopefully, I'll be stylish, big, flamboyant earrings, lots of pink, you know. I got 2 letters from 6 months ago today, kinda boring. They mostly just asked about Quinn who I don't believe I'll be with in 3 years! Class is ending, Bye Ellie!!
