Dear FutureMe,
Right now you're getting ready to graduate college. You just started your internship at Camelot Care in the adoptions unit. You're currently in bed eating a bowl of cranberry crunch watching Gilmore Girls. Just got rehired at Publix as a cashier, and you're considering quitting the salon. Two jobs and an internship is a lot, and you're getting stress headaches again. Home from internship and work with a migraine today! Taking the day to recoup and get your **** together because you're not calling out again.
I'm excited about graduating, but scared of everything to come. Having to give up independence and move home temporarily after graduation is a weird thought. I'm taking a gap year before I apply for a masters program, because I'm not 100% sure what I want to do. Social work? Criminal justice? Family science? Something else???? I don't know I'm feeling very lost in that sense.
I like my internship enough. I've bonded a little bit with one of my supervisors, Alexis. We went on a home visit together and talked a lot about hair, Harry Styles fantasies, and general life goals.
Fridge has been a wonderful annoying little guy. He's waking you up about 2-3 times a night and every morning before your alarm which is really fun. Sleep would be nice. But he's cute so you have to forgive him.
