A letter from Jan 23, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Your kindness is your strength. It feels crushing now but I want you to make your peace with yourself and give yourself permission to love; love things whether it be small for a few seconds or all encompassing for the rest of your life; whether it's reciprocated in the ways that you'd think or not. You've done your part and that's enough and others love you in their way too. You're the only person with yourself 100% of the time, make them someone you love. Right now you look longingly at other couples and imagine what romantic love could feel like. You have platonic and familial and they are wonderful. Maybe sometime soon we'll see how wonderful a romantic love could be. If a crush is a glimpse of it, I have no idea what a proper love could be like because those had be blushing at a simple 'hello'. That's it for now I s'pose. Maybe there's a marauders movie out now and someone better than the flippin' tories are in charge and have saved the NHS and that climate change is better now. Anyway, bye babes <3
