A letter from January 21st, 2023

Dear FutureMe, I hope we have the kids we always dreamed of. November 2022 was hard for us because we miscarried the baby we thought was going to complete our puzzle. We’re 24 at the time and Max is 2, just turned 2 last month. Nick is 25 and working at Stratton and you work at Planet Earth Preschool. By the time you get this max will be 5 and starting Kindergarten in the fall. He currently knows the whole alphabet and can count to 10 and he recognizes all sorts of shapes and colors. His favorite shows are octonauts, bluey and Mickey Mouse. His best friend is Caiem. I hope you’re done with college by the time you get this but if you drop out I don’t entirely blame you. It’s a lot. I hope you’re still friends with Cheyenne and Teresa and Hanna. I hope you’re still living your best life and/or a better one. I hope we’re moving into a new house that we have purchased. Writing this makes me wonder what the next few years will be like. Here’s the most recent picture of Max I have. We went to the zoo with your mom and sister, Kate today. I hope you still talk to everyone and I hope grandma is still with us. Both of them. Well, here’s to the future. Wish us all luck back here 😘
