A letter from Jan 11, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Hey. It's the sophomore year you. We came back to school one week ago. I'm exhausted and I feel like I want to quit so much. A girl in my class passed away yesterday. The class I'm writing this in specifically. The principal and counselor came in and told us that she has passed away. It was shocking. I left early. Even though me and her weren't close I still knew her since 6th grade and I was never expecting that to ever happen. I was friends with her friend group too. I don't understand why things like this happen to be honest. By the time you're reading this, you will already have graduated and be in college probably. I have a debate tournament this weekend, we don't have school Friday but I have to go to a tournament Friday AND Saturday. I hope Shaniah and I break and advance but I already know that we won't. We switched to Public Forum this year because I hated doing Policy. I wonder where I will be in three years. Will I have a good job? Will I be in college? Did we move out? Did I get into my dream school? Man, I hope so! To give you a little taste of high school, here is my schedule: 1. Drawing Two 2. Painting Two 3. Honors English 4. Geometry 5. French One 6. AP US history 7. Forensic Science 8. Advanced Debate I hope this brought back good memories for you, I am liking sophomore year more than freshman year. Anyways, I hope you are doing well. I wrote this while I was taking a break from an assignment because its wayyyy tooooo long. My body is sore from writing. Bye!!
