Dear FutureMe, It’s been a while since I’ve done this but honestly? This is the same place I was the last time I was writing something like this, it’s just new people and new dreams. You’re in love again, I know, it’s practically a cliche at this point, but good news! You’re no longer in love with the boy that you were agonizing over for years, you’ve found a new boy to fixate on. I’m sending this kind of far so I really hope you’re not in the same place with M that you are now. I’m supposed to visit him in a few months for the first time since I’ve moved. You know how it was, the longing. For a while I (we?) weren’t sure if we should continue this relationship because of the whole being in love with him without being able to tell him thing, but it’s been moved passed for now. But I really hope you’re either not in love with him right now you’ve finally told him and you’re together. If you’re still friends with benefits consider yourself disappointed in. :( The thing you want is to always be on the same page as somebody it’s very comforting. You always got that with him which is why you like him so much, but you can find that with someone else. And don’t settle for less. Being understood is important. And I hope you’re almost done with school if you’re not done already. Good luck!! You, age 25
