Dear FutureEric,
I'm still alive huh? Even more suprising is that I'm still using the same email address.
I'd bet cigarettes aren't $5/pack anymore.
Well, I'm just burning CD's and reading various articles online. Anne is watching TV and, no doubt, wondering who I am typing a message to. Fatty is sitting in the chair next to me (on my jacket). Poor thing, she's been acting strange lately (bored or maybe something else), and so we took her for a drive tonight. She got car sick in Anne's lap and I've never imagined a cat could hurl so much in 20 seconds. Poor baby, in a couple of days, we're going to have her teeth cleaned and have a blood panel to make sure nothing horrible creeps up on us.
I lost my job at (LC&D) a couple of weeks ago. So far, I've recieved only one UE check and I need money pretty bad. The fuckin' Man is threatening collections to collect $1000+ for that seatbelt ticket in San Diego. Fucking leeches!
Incase I have forgotten at the time of reading this. I lost my license and have acquired tickets galore in various states recently (CA times 3, VA, NY, OH) and a warning in VT. No doubt those agencies will be trying to collect any time now.
Fucking disgusted at the class war going on. Actually, "class war" implies mutual fighting. This is a class massacre being unleashed on an unsuspecting, foolish, trusting, oblivious class of idiots. Unfortunately, I am included in the doomed class, but I am not included in common state of blissful unawareness. I have seen this coming for a long time and now I sense that the cards are on the table. The gloves are off and soon the line between those with the scrilla and those without will become clearly defined. Most of the "middle" class probably will not have a nest egg of the size needed to ride this one out. If my intuition is right, most will find themselves destitute in two or three years.
Bush is spending like a debutant with a crack addiction, The government are not so concerned with concealing their mobster ways anymore because it is quite obvious that no-one will stop them at this point. The police have clearly been given the green light to launch a ticketing campaign of a new magnitude. A zero-tolerance stance regardless of the nature of the infraction, Unreasonably excessive fines are issued and enforced with threats ranging from garnishment of income, to a removal and sale of whatever property "real or personal" is deemed sufficient to pay for the fine. Presumably this service is provided at additional cost to the law-breaker.
If one is caught driving under a suspended license, the vehicle being driven is subject to immediate impound and sale for profit by the police.
I could go on but I don't see a reason to do so.
Hopefully, I will recieve this email in the future and find out that I was worried for nothing.
Eric
