A letter from Dec 24, 2022

Time Travelled — almost 3 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Merry Xmas! I am currently sitting on a worn out chair, enjoying the view in the roof top, feeling a bit melancholic as I am writing this letter. So, the thing is everything outside your work is a bit messy--you don't talk with your mom anymore, you feel like its wrong to connect with your siblings, and you feel like you are stuck and has no freedom because you want to be conscious with the people you are living it. This years Christmas is kinda sad. Not because you want to be with other people but because it's not your definition of Christmas. In 3 years, while you are reading this, I hope you are finally done with hustle culture. I want you to tell me that you are finally living in your own 2-bedroom condo unit with balcony and has the best view in the city and is celebrating with either yourself or with the people you want to celebrate with. I actually cried awhile ago because I wanted our spaghetti to be the same with mama but it's not. This ain't Christmas. This ain't the holidays I grew up with. But I need to be here. This is a crucial step to a brighter tomorrow. I must not let my emotions maneuver my actions. Cheers to your success, Ms. CEO! Have a holly jolly Christmas, XOXO.
