A letter from Nov 21, 2022

Dear FutureMe, Firstly, Happy 21st birthday. It’s crazy right? Don’t you still remember being 9 years old? It feels like it was yesterday. I am so proud of you- for the steps you are taking and the hard work you are putting in. Things may be stressful, I’m sure you have lost a lot but gained a lot as well. Remember that the present is yours to take, and the future will always be there for you. Don’t forget about me although I may be left behind in the past. I will always love you and wish the best for you. I would like to say to never change because you are perfect the way you are, but change is an inevitable part of life. Change, and grow, become an even more amazing and beautiful person than you are now. I want to look back on this letter and recognize how much I’ve changed for the better. Keep working hard. You are enough. You are strong. You are loved. Kindest regards, your 18 year old self.
