A letter from Nov 20, 2022

Dear FutureMe, You're really depressed today. Your favorite doggie, B, is not doing well and you've made the decision to put him down next week. It's not like you didn't know this was coming, you found out he had cancer in July but still- I suppose part of you was hoping he would hang around for another year. Or two. You are feeling really sad and depressed. You didn't really buy anything at your favorite swap meet and you told hubby you weren't even going shopping with him Monday. How are you today? Did you get another puppy? IDK you didn't feel this way with J but somehow, B is different. I hope you filled that hole in your heart with another puppy who needed a home and that your memories of B are sweet ones. You gave him a very good life and a painless end. Who could ask for more? If you haven't gotten another dog, do it now. Everything will be OK.
