A letter from Nov 08, 2022

Dear future Josh, this letter is from the past as an assignment from the First Year Foundations class. I am still dead set on my major being Electronic arts (Video) and I have become more confident with making advertising my minor. At this point in my collage experience, I am confident that I’m not just getting a degree but actual knowledge and social connections. Chia Alpha has given me great friends and MED 365 has given me lots of knowledge and experience. It helps that I have been told the rout I am going is profitable compared to others who peruse an art major. I hope that when I read this that I know more than just Pr and Ae and that I learned something I did not even know I could learn. Maybe adobe has some audio software or there may be a third video related software, I think Light room does something, but I don’t know if it is for video or photo. My favorite class this semester is Film and Digital Media Production because it is the one class, I get to make videos in. My favorite memory in collage at this point is tossing a Frisby around campus with my brother. Something I would do differently is to have more caution when going to Jimmy Johns. Finally, I bet now that you’re an experienced videographer your looking back at your old videos and cringing at how it could have been better. As long as each video is better than the last then your collection of projects will show your progression. Sincerely, Yourself
