A letter from October 17th, 2022

If the previous letter, from September 10, 2020 had anything about not giving up on Leslie, do not believe it. You know things have changed. We were young, back then. It wasn't right that we romanticized giving away the entirety of our lives to someone who could not do the same. We went through it together, in 2021. The pain, the grief, the uncertainty. By the time you read this letter, I don't know if anything else has happened. But do not go back to her, or believe any false nostalgic feeling that letter will trigger. Good deeds do not cover bad deeds, and vice versa. We do not forgive what has been done to us. We long accepted the pain of it. But we will never accept that we deserved it. and else, we love someone else now. Most importantly, we love ourself now. I hope you still do, by the time this reaches you. The only thing you shouldn't give up on, is yourself. Stay Determined, Ninth Son.
