A letter from Oct 01, 2022

Dear FutureMe, I've been reading letters that people are sending to their 'futureme' and it's all very inspiring? Not to me, but to themselves. Saying how they're doing so well and that current them is proud of them for working so hard. It confuses me. I can't understand how people can be so certain, so hopeful how something is going to turn out. I hope you won't fault me for this, and I know you won't but I can't be certain you'll be happy and doing well. I just can't. That's why I ask you questions. Can you tell me, honestly, how are you? Tell me about you now. Because currently, right this moment, I'm tired. I am regretful and I don't know what I'm doing. Has that changed?
