Dear FutureMe, REMINDER: It does not need to be anyone's birthday to get a birthday cake. Papa will turn 50 tomorrow and idk it is so sad to see everyone grow old and we all will probably move out for uni and stuff so it is kinda scary and just sad. Here I am at 1:25 am writing this because application process is hectic and idkw but a gap year should be normalised. WHICH UNIVERSITY DID YOU ATTEND??? MY HEART, MY SOUL, EVERY FRAGMENT OF ME WANTS TO KNOW THAT I am craving lemon cranberry pound cake This letter thingy has to be the most random thing ever. I LOVE POTATOES, they are so versatile Can you believe I am almost an adult? No? Neither can I. I read this book and now idk what to do with my life. It was so ******* good. I watched kota factory and I kid you not, I cried A LOT because I could see myself in the same situation, I was almost in the same situation because of JEE mains and other entrance exams. I thought about me being - 'unalive' but I realised it was so stupid to do that over some exam and it probably wont decide my life. I may decide that engineering was just for a stable job and not because it was my passion. I hope you know where you are going. Direction is more important than speed. What is meant for you will find you. Also, I think this side hustle **** is actually ********. I mean, I just wanna relax, I worked hard the whole ******* day and I deserve a break. Money can be earned back but you wont be the same age getting to experience new things. As a teenager, the most important thing in my life rn is to get that degree and chase my dreams. But why is it a dream and not a goal. Chasing dreams seems so pretentious than aiming to achieving the goals. I dont have friends because let's say I am not cool enough because I dont drink/smoke/***** about people. Yk who I am talking about, all they do is talk about guys and when they'll get their nails done. You are in STEM, you are ******* smart. You are meant to do what you want and not divert from your goals. Love will find a way, read 'em rom-coms or whatever because that ****'ll upgrade your standards and make you not settle for anything less. Just enjoy whatever you can and be kind because why you gotta be mean. It is okay to take education loan because trust me ik you'll be employed in MAANG so **** it, you can cover it along with coop. it is okay whatever it is. Always remember that this 17 y/o thinks you're super cool. You dont need to lose weight but you do need 8 hours of sleep. ILY ALWAYS AND FOREVER <3
