A letter from Sep 23, 2022

Dear Future Zarah, Hey Zarah, It’s me, your 12 year old self who is in grade 7. I feel I’m going to be the same as you right now, I have questions for you. What University did you go to? You better go to UFT. Did you start wearing the hijab yet? I hope you do. You still single you lonely human or at least have a crush on someone? Are we still friends with Jess and Vicky or any old friends? Is there drama in High School? Does Zunairah learn manners yet? I hope you fix your friendship with Nabeeha. 2020 was a horrible year covid-19 hit and lockdown started. We had to stay home all day with family, we got so much closer to mom since we were with her so much.We had to do online school which was terrible we could never focus because we were in our house so we never paid any attention unless it was art that when we paid attention. I hope we are still close with mom and dad. Do we still have my ugly under eyes or did you finally get enough sleep? I was wondering if you have some new friends or am I stuck with the same friends forever. Is mom and dad ok? Did you make it to London? I really want to go. I hope in the future I do go. How are things at your school? Are the teachers nice? Do you still workout? Please tell me you got a new phone and not still with an Iphone 6s. Did we visit Bangladesh again or are we still stuck in Canada? I hope we visit more places in the future. Are we mentaly ok now like we feel happy? Are we still very sensitive or did we grow up a bit? I hope we stopped crying so much. Please tell me we got taller, we are still too short, we are only 5’6 that's too short. I hope we are like 5’7 or maybe not I don't really know. Did we fix our face and the bumps on my face? I hope we did. I don't really like them so I hope we do. Are we pretty now like really pretty?
