Dear FutureMe,
Currently you are sitting outside in the driveway. Its still feel like a summer night. You just picked potatoes with Dad and your feet are so dirty. Mom just got home. Tomorrow is her birthday. You’re gonna be on Chronicle. THE TV!! Mom’s favorite house cleaner is here for the first time in forever, and mom is freaking out. Tim and Lynn just got a new puppy. You love Harry Styles, but everyone else seems to hate him.
Life has been tough for you. You don’t know how to keep going, its like no one will ever understand what goes on through your mind, not even your therapist. Which by the way, you just went back to therapy. Its interesting but you seem to seem to enjoy it.
You are going through some depression. A lot of anxiety too. A lot. It’s tough living through life these days. School is a wreck, home is hard, and friends are being lost. You get judged on everything. You can’t wear anything that you like without being judged, and you hate that. It makes you feel as though you can’t wear those things that you love.
You can’t laugh without being called Oliver, who laughs like a donkey. You can’t put in your input, without being shut down. Remember your ex, Owen. Yeah he hates your guts right now. But today he wore the polo that you bought him last year.
You may be leaving Gilmanton and going to Derryfield. Only Bristol, who seems like your only friend at school, knows, and a few teachers.
Life just sucks.
That’s it. You don’t even know what to say to that.
It’s okay though. Maybe by the time that you get this letter, life will be better.
I don't know, but keep pushing forward.
Think of the butterflies.
