A letter from Sep 15, 2022

Dear FutureMe, Hello future self, My name is Jeanie and I am 16 years old. I am writing this letter to let you know about my goals. My main goals are to save money, purchase airpods for a gift, get a car, and have an apartment. I want to reach these goals because as a young child, I have always wanted to live by myself and have my own space. Especially with six siblings, I had to share a room and most of my siblings sleep together. Through many struggles in my household, I see potential in you reaching your dream. I know you will be so much happier than the 16 years old you. I am struggling and having minor issues, but I know that you will make me proud. I have always dreamed of having my own room, my own bathroom, my own kitchen, and everything else in a house. I dream about having my own kitchen where I can feel every energy in the apartment. I wish to wake up and do everything independently with my own schedule and purpose. I really need to save money for all of this to become true. Some steps for you are to take it slow, balance your paychecks, do not spend money right when you get paid, plan to save money, and budget it all out. I look forward to seeing you reach your goals.
