A letter from Sep 11, 2022

Dear FutureMe, Congrats, we've made it!! We have officially graduated high school! That's great, right? Maybe we'll finally be able to fulfill that dream of ours. It's about 2-3 weeks into our freshmen year, and it's already exhausting. I know we've struggled with insecurities and mental health for years and years, but there's this girl that has made things worse for us. She hasn't done anything wrong, but we've set unrealistic standards for our bodies and personality. I hope that by the time high school is over, we'll learn to love ourselves a bit more. We currently have a loving boyfriend who we started dating on July 3rd, 2022. He's been amazing to us so far, and we have no complaints. But, we both know of our commitment issues. I hope we haven't ruined this for us. We have already done that once before. Speaking of, our first homecoming is soon! We bought ourselves a sparkly red dress and black heels for the dance! Madi might even be coming too! The homecoming is on September 17th, and it's really exciting! Straying a bit away from high school, I want to talk about our goals and ideas for the future. I hope we still become streamers and live in London with our two best friends, but I know that's a bit unrealistic. I get that, you know? Anywho, I hope we've figured out what we want in life, even just a part of it. We're so indecisive. It's annoying. But maybe we'll have figured ourselves out a little by the time high school is over. Let's talk about mental health for a second. Not many know, but we've been struggling with SH for a few months now, and it hasn't been good. Maybe, just maybe, we can recover together. Maybe by graduation, we can be clean. I'm proud of us, and that we're still here, alive, living. I hope we still are. On a completely different note, let's talk about interests, shall we? We are currently taking on hobbies such as art (per usual), cosplay, listening to music, and guitar! We also enjoy playing games such as Roblox and Minecraft with friends! We have been currently following content creators such as Wilbur Soot, Flamingo, Moriah Elizabeth, Ranboo, CaitiBugzz, Tommyinnit, and more! We've been hyper-fixated on the DSMP a lot, honestly. Although, we've also been fixated on music! We tend to listen to Indie-Pop songs, along with a little Hyperpop/rap, and Pop songs! Currently, we have Lovejoy as a favorite band! We hope to see them live someday, in fact! Our current top artists are: 1. Lovejoy 2. Doja Cat 3. Wilbur Soot 4. Derivikat 5. Ariana Grande I would include our top songs, but they're a bit odd right now- so- let's move on. I've been dragging this email on quite a lot, but I know that 4 years is a lot, and I just don't want to forget the old us, you know? Time passes, and we block out memories we deem unimportant, but sometimes, those are the most crucial memories. Stay strong, I'm so proud of us. Love, Past you from 2022
