Dear Issac/Theo or whatever we go by now,
I remember always wanting a glimpse into the future, but of course that's impossible, so how about a glimpse into the past? it's 2022 when I'm "sending this" I mean, really a site is storing this message to send on the proper date.
Anyways, I guess I want to say that your ambitions will be realized. Remember how in 2016-2021 we just wanted good friends who care and now we have them. I'm assuming things have gone up and that we're more successful than just a Taco Bell shift lead "now". It's such a weird concept of "now" because whatever "now" is always changing, like 15 minutes ago was "now" and so will be 15 minutes into the future. I suppose it's all based on context. and so is success. I think it['s important to remind ourselves that success is based on subjective parameters that are always changing.
A good example of this is just without job history, Meijers paying $8.25/h was successful at the time, but then we have Taco Bell paying $10.50 and all of those are important successes. But so is going from a $21/h job in maintenance to a $14/h job in management. Because although it's less money, it gives me different experience so I can become better all the way around.
I think that the most important thing is to always move forward. Regardless of the potential failures we encounter.
I'd really like to see what we've done and where we'll go. Like, do we ever find someone? How much money do we have/ make? Are we happy? Have we found home? I know you can't respond to this, it's nonsensical to think you could.
Just in case I'm wrong though, and technology has advanced more than i can possibly imagine right now, send a reply to your email, on September 31, 2022, at 12:01 pm.
