A letter from Aug 31, 2022

Dear Future Cathryn, Oooh love where do I even start?! (Also, I want you to take a shot before this because HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!) First I want to say I love you and I am soo proud of everything that you have accomplished. Words literally can not describe how happy and in love with this new sense of self that we are at this moment. Girl, remember when you literally were STRESSED out about going back to school, what you should study in, if it would make you money and how you were going to afford all of it? Now look at you - literally makes me cry to think about how far you have come and how many obstacles you had to get over. I am soo happy to hear that you not only completed nursing school and b*tch you passed your NCLEX!! Okay Miss BSN, RN!!! Yes, did it take a lot of long nights, tears and encouragement from your friends and family, OF COURSE! However, you made it! One thing that I really want you to take away from this is love you have to believe in you and NEVER give up or doubt yourself because I need you and I believe in you! Now let me not forgot the life that you also turned into a reality with you being in your own luxury apartment (with a dishwasher and in unit washer and dryer!) I has an amazing view of the sunsets/sunrises and is pet friendly so Mimi comes with. Everything including the kitchen appliance and centralized air conditioning is modern and right within you price range of 1500-1700 a month. Your 2022 Kia K5 GT AWD in either Wolf Gray or all Black - both with leather seating a panoramic sunroof it able to be parked in the apartment garage which really helps when is snows. (no shoveling needed, wink wink). I am just soo happy that you are finally living the life that you pictured in your head for sooo long. The waking up to go to a nursing job that you truly love where your able to work within the ****** and reproductive setting without being burnt out and actually LOVING what you do and WANTING to come into work. The wearing your favorite scrubs and hoping into your car and driving with you thermos coffee cup. The wearing your favorite nursing shoes (switching from clogs to some nice comfortable sneakers) and feeling confident that your work week is going to be great. And don't forget the driving back home from work and being able to relax and unwind with your cat and some wine. One promise I can make is that I will try my hardest to not give up on that dream, even when the going feels like it's getting a little too tough. I know that I have God and the universe on my side and anything I put my mind to is possible! Im sooo happy that you never gave up and that you finally decided that enough was enough. It was time for you to not only grow but also show yourself that you are capable and smart. Im soo happy that you pulled those roots from the ground and planted them in somewhere else where you're not only growing but flourishing. I am just happy to see you know and I truly don't want you feeling the same way you felt tonight August 30th, 2022 while typing this letter ever again. Every single great to crappy experience has all added up and you surpassed each and every single one of them. Continue to fight those nasty thoughts love and I hope your *** is back in therapy because ****, we need it! But always remember that God is good all the time and all the time God is good. Okay sooo I going to wrap up love, remember to tell you loving partner that he was another part of your manifestations and that I said I LOVE YOU. Also remember to try and continue showering your friends with love and compassion because even though it does not feel like it they got your back, they're just dealing with their own sh*t. And if anyone leaves so be it, you can not hold possession of anyone or anything.
