A letter from Aug 30, 2022

Dear FutureMe, Today is August 30 and im in my second cohort meeting. The first few days at NYU ive been feeling lonely because im an introvert and i dont know much people here. As cheesy as it sounds i feel more ok with it after this cohort meeting bc we talked abt some deep ****. i also met ppl with similar interests in my cohort whoch is so exciting since back home literally noone had the same interests as me. we talked abt taking up space in places where u dont feel like u belong which is so important and im gonna try to remind myself to do that everyday. by the end of my senior yr i want to have built my confidence andformed meaningful relationships. i want to especially work on speaking up and putting myself out there and not comparing myself to others.
