Time Travelled — over 3 years

Peaceful right?

Dear future Kora, August 24, 2022 You’re a senior, who’s about to graduate. It’s unbelievable to think that your almost an adult… right now I’m in Freshman year, 6th Period English on August 24, 2022. I really hope that your high school years were the best years of your life like everybody said they would be. Although I do have some questions… In freshman year I have a few best friends, that being, EK, McKenna, and Gaby, I wonder if they are still your best friends, I hope so… if they are, I hope you’ve made even more amazing memories. Remember the first high school football game you went to? No? That’s ok, didn’t expect you to, it was so fun, even though our team lost by a long shot, it was fun to hang out with friends. You know… I wonder if your music taste is still the same. Are your favorite artists still Slipknot, Mother Mother, Gorillaz, etc.? Hopefully you got that guitar you really wanted, if you did, does it play well? Did you start that band you always said you would? If so who’s in the band with you? Are you the main singer and guitarist? Hopefully, because that used to be your dream. HUGE QUESTION… Did you get accepted into Berkeley? You’ve ALWAYS wanted to live in California, at that school. If you didn’t… wait you are still going to collage right?! Of course, you are you want to major in art or music! Unless you don’t anymore? Either way I hope you go to a good collage! With that… I still have so many questions… but those are for another time period. I hope you enjoyed your high school years, and I hope you enjoy your adult years… still can’t pull myself to think you’re an adult… enjoy graduation future self… Love, 9th Grade Kora <3
