A letter from Aug 28, 2022

Dear FutureMe, I hope that by this time you have passed your CMU classes, and have gotten your degree. I hope you have pursued your dreams of creating a reflection of your world building ideas, whether it be a small game or a well written story. I hope you have made life long friends, hopefully even the one, and made memories you would never forget. I am in a happy place right now, and I hope you are too. By this time, remember to buy grandma a necklace, and grandpa a watch. And throw a 20 dollar bill into the sky, like you have promised a decade ago. Enjoy yourself, because I want to feel joy. Love yourself, so I can rid of my insecurities. Live for yourself, because I am too young to die. Breathe, and I will as well. Keep ethics close to your heart. The world may not applause for you are just a drop in the sea, but I will be eternally grateful.
