A letter from Aug 26, 2022

Dear FutureMe, We're 1408 days out from the 250th anniversary of the United States. I remember 1976 so well and, even though Watergate was still in the news and greatly impacted the presidential campaign that year, I remember so much optimism in the country. I don't see that today, and I worry for the future of American democracy and the sacred right for all Americans of voting age having access to the ballot.
