A letter from Aug 25, 2022

Dear Kayden, are you alive? If you can read then I guess you still are. If you’ve followed your family’s wishes then you’ve stayed in Texas for 2 years after high school and then moved to Japan for college, if you’re in Japan you’ve made your past self proud, so you better keep making your past self even more proud of you in university. If you’ve already been in Japan for a while I’m assuming that staying here in Texas felt like torture, it would be expected but it’s still sad, she’s still on your mind right? You need to forgive yourself, even if you could’ve done something what happened is in the past, you have to let her go now, I’m sure she’s with a happy family that truly loves her now, not just one person. Anyways, are you able to speak a good amount of Japanese now? You better be able to, this studying isn’t going to waste alright? Ahh yeah you should probably join a voice acting agency in Japan I think that’d be a good start for your career if you still have the same dreams that I have right now. It’s been quite a few years so I don’t think you want to throw away our dream career away just yet, so I’ll try my best too. Oh, have you found any good poke bowl places or ramen places in Tokyo or Kyoto? I really wonder what it’s like to eat real authentic Japanese cuisine compared to the stuff we had over here in the states. If our friends are still doing good in the future and you’re still in contact with them you should keep talking to them about everything happening in your life, they’re very valuable friends and I’m sure you know that too. If you’ve met any Japanese friends you should treasure them too, it’s pretty hard to make friends in Japan I hear but just as it’s hard to make friends it’s hard to lose them too. Do you still play any games? There better be a new main game in the Neptunia franchise, right now I’m playing Megadimension Neptunia VII and so far it’s the best Neptunia game I’ve played yet. Have there been any new sword art online anime releases? Scherzo of a Deep Night is coming out soon but it got delayed due to Covid-19, if Covid is still a thing in the future I’m gonna be real pissed. Also I hope you got better at talking to people, there’s nice people out there so give people a chance. All right, that’s about it, cya.
