Time Travelled — about 4 years

Peaceful right?

Dear 21 year old me, First of, happy birthday! I know you don't like birthdays but I hope you have found a better way to celebrate it now. How are you? How's university? Did we get into the place we wanted to go? Are we dating anyone? How's life overseas? Did Mum and Dad manage to sell the house? Do we have a nice job? Did we meet a lot of new people? Are you happy? I thought I might as well ask you now, as I am going through a rough patch now. I hope we have things going fine, and that we are surrounded by God-loving people and feel His love more than we do now. Did you ever get to tell anyone you were scared? Did you ever get to tell Jules about our crush? Did you ever get to have the rest I need so badly now? Did you ever get covid yet, like what we are trying to avoid now? How's the family? Are we all coping well? There's so many things I want to know and ask, but there's one thing I want to say to you. Live. Live more than you will ever need to. Go do the things you want to. Go lie in a field like we've always want to, right this second. Go buy the stuff you've been wanting for ages. Go tell someone the things you've been hiding inside for ages. Go book a ticket to Sweden or some place, go live life and explore it. Go visit our sisters and brother, go spend the night at a friend's house, bake cookies and swim at night. Go drink all the cocktails and sign up for that bartending course we want to do. Go learn French or German if you have not started. Go live. All my love, hopes and prayers, (Almost) 17 year old you
