Dear FutureMe,
Hi how are you? Right now, you're anxious and nervous as to whether you'll still have a home after the beginning of March. The owners of the apartment in which you live raised the rents so high that everyone is either moving or in the process of moving right now. All the apartments that used to be filled with so many different people are now empty, with their blinds drawn, and all seems to be cold and vacant in what was once a thriving community.
As to you, depending on the perpetually irresponsible people in your life to do the right thing is now putting you in danger of not having a home. You knew that you had to move starting in November of 2005 and worked to save as much as you could towards the eventual move. The person you're dependant on however, saw fit to pretty much make that four month period their own personal party time and spent any money that might have been used in moving.
So now, you're depending on a lot of blind hope that it will all turn out alright. Even so, you nervously began the process of getting independant from that person so, this is a good thing. Hopefully, it will work in your favor and even if they don't have a place to stay, you will. As mean as it sounds, it would serve them right for being so bloody irresponsible when they had that much of an advanced warning.
Here's to fervently hoping that you're not homeless, that the person you're dependant on is also not homeless and that the both of you are well. Here's to your eventual escape from the fluctuating madness and instability that has existed throughout most of your life as well as the emotional, psychological, and neglectful pain and suffering you've had to endure.
Most importantly, here's to you reclaiming yourself. :o)
