A letter from Aug 23, 2022

Hi Eria, Four years can be a long time, and I can only imagine how it is where you are. I’m currently in a period of transition in my life. I’m in the process of applying to med school right now, and it’s crazy thinking you might be finishing up, while I’m in the past, stressing about my secondaries arriving late LOL. Unless you never got in… which in that case, I hope you’re working towards something you love. Life is hard but I know you know yourself best. If nothing else, I believe in your ability to persevere. I have a lot of ambition, a lot of passion, and I hope it hasn’t died out yet. How is everyone? Is the Discord group still talking? Have we finally rioted against the mods? I’m currently hate-watching Love is Blind with Nayeli. I hope we still have long *** zoom conversations. I hope I don’t curse as much lolll. I hope I still keep in touch with everyone. I know I have a tendency to self-isolate, so with any luck, you fixed that. I hope I learned more about who I am. I hope you took up journaling, or writing more at least, even though I don’t think you have lol. As you can see, I somehow retained a lot of hope. I need you to have retained that. Time is so strange. I can’t tell if I want the four years to have gone super quickly or slowly. How do you wish it went? What’re your regrets? What’re your happy memories? What do you wish you could tell me? All in all, I want you to do what you gotta do. Just get through it. I know you’re a good person at heart. I believe in you. Please believe in yourself too.
