A letter from Aug 21, 2022

Dear FutureMe, I’m 11 years old. I’m in my bed. It’s late at night. How are you doing? Has life been good? It’s been a year since you read my last letter. Happy birthday. One year until sweet sixteen! Right now, I’m about to start seventh grade. My friends are Amelie, Isa, the twins, Liv, and Gavin. I haven’t gotten my period yet. I think I might make a tradition of sending myself letters as a birthday gift to myself. Dad recently got a job teaching eighth and eleventh grade, does he still teach there? What was your favorite roll you’ve played in any musical or show so far? I’m auditioning for Elle Woods soon, (god I hope I get it, I hope I get it!) and my most recent role played was Narrator in Into the Woods. Who’s your closest friend right now? How are you holding up? What’s your favorite class? Who’s your favorite teacher? I’m really excited for you to read my little time capsule, can’t wait to see you in four years!
