A letter from Aug 17, 2022

Time Travelled — almost 3 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I'm actually surprised that this website still exists. From what I remember you haven't written yourself a letter since you were 13 whats a better time to write one than at 21? You graduate in a year's time and to be honest you're terrified. Scared to leave your friends, scared to transition to the next stage of your life, but more importantly, you're really unsure of what comes next for you. I always said that by 30 if I don't have my life figured out then it would be okay to leave, but I don't think that sentiment is true for you anymore even though we still struggle a lot. I think can say that I'm proud of you and everything you have gone through and have overcome. You have always kept your kind heart no matter how many times people have taken advantage of it you still find reasons to care, and it's one part of yourself that you don't ever want to lose. The last time we were writing to you like this we were trying to cope with one of the hardest parts of your life, and even now we are still trying to heal. I haven't decided how far we are going to send this yet, but I hope you're doing okay.
