Dear Future Joey,
You're 30 now, and I hope things are going well.
Things are pretty good at the current age of 26; you've bought your first house, remodeled it, and are living fairly comfortably.
You're still working at FedEx currently, and hopefully you're able to hold onto it for the foreseeable future.
You've been single for 9 years as of Aug 22nd, 2022, and it's kinda bumming you out.
You feel both blessed and depressed at the same time, and it's a constant struggle between the two mindsets.
You're good buddies with Keegan still, and you love him like a brother. He's just signed the settlement in his court case and seems to be relatively content with the outcome. Only time will tell.
Mom and Dad are really starting to show their age, no matter how much Dad refuses to admit it. I Pray they're still doing well when you're 30...
Your music career is sorta kicking off; you're releasing a bit more music now that the house is mostly done, and you're planning to do some shows and professionally record the audio and shoot a couple videos, too. The biggest problem you're dealing with when it comes to the music is nobody supporting you... I hope that has changed now that you're 30.
You feel lost most days at 26, like you have no idea how to be a grown up or how to get things going in your life, and I hope that by 30 you've figured that out.
I Pray that, at 30, whether you've really gone into your music, or anything else you're doing, that you're at least happy. Maybe you have a girlfriend or wife that you love, maybe you're working at a job that does well for you and that you enjoy doing, or maybe something dramatically different.
As long as you're happy, that's all that matters...
Don't forget to smile as often as possible, and to love everybody around you, whether they share the love back.
Thank God every day that you wake up, and are given the chance to be happy.
Happiness has always been our ultimate goal, and I Pray we've found it by the time we're your age.
God Bless.
